          2. You could cast regen on your party and then reflect, then use Ultima with quad-cast on your own party and it would reflect 12 times each cast.

          4. Yeah it reflects once for each party member it hits, so 12 total each time. Then you can have another party member use mimic. If I remember right the demi spells didn't reflect which was annoying but max level ultima usually did 9999 anyway.

    1. I played it a lot when I was a kid so learned a fair bit about the systems. I think I noticed it first when I accidentally cast cura on my party with reflect and it cast it 3 times on the enemies and then realised it would work for other spells too. Another not very well known trick was that the cure spells dealt damage to undead type enemies too.

      1. Wait no sorry it was lightning for Emerald, I forgot Ultima doesn't work with reflect either along with the demi spells

  188. The other big issue with splitting FF7 up for me is the progression aspect. Ain't no way I'm going to be invested enough in Rebirth to do all the side stuff plus grind everything out to max level when I lose all of it prior to the third part anyway. In the OG like half my playtime, maybe even more, was basically just grinding (and chocobo breeding) to get everything to fight the weapons.

      1. I'll still probably do all the side stuff I will just not enjoy a lot of it towards the end and won't do any grinding outside of the actual side quests.

          5. In the US definitely. The thing is, that DQ8 is already ridiculously polished. Other than helping to curb some of the tension spam, it’s legitimately already absurdly balanced. You can make it look better I guess but whatever.
