My most embarassing childhood memory is in 7th grade we were doing West Side Story and because the school used to do only Romeo and Juliet and this was the first year they alternated, I came up with this bit that I would go out in front of the audience before the play started and pretend to be giving the opening monologue of Romeo and Juliet and one of the other cast members would come out and do a whole thing about how we’re doing a more modern take on it.

    So what happened is I was in the first scene of tje acrual play so I’d have to change from my shakespear outfit to the normal one and slick my hair back with gel. Well, during the actual play, they sent me out before I could wipe my hands off and I was supposed to knock something off a shelf in the scene but it legit stuck to my hand and I had to like fling it off but it completely derailed my lines lol. This was in front of the whole school too
