Being Misdiagnosed happens a lot, I've even been Misdiagnosed by a therapist I had. That's why they put me on meds that made me feel worse. But I feel they're all very real and in my case it helped me understand myself more.

          3. By situation I mean in regards to your behavior and the diagnosis is simply how it's interpreted. Astrology applies meaning to behaviour in a similar way by ascribing patterns to certain identities or traits but it's only comparable because diagnostic criteria that was initially extremely rigid was relaxed (to accomodate "missed" diagnoses) but there's too much variance so overlap like that (and with "regular" behavior) becomes more pronounced and the original intent is lost.

          4. I'm glad it's not as rigid now. As a kid they didn't diagnose me because they said that I was just a spoiled brat and needed discipline. If I'd been diagnosed then I could have worked on it though kid me probably would have gotten made fun of by family. No matter what the comparing of astrology and people being diagnosed with behavioral issues rubs me the wrong way. Especially since astrology to me is a joke.
