  5. You have to understand that second base is the position with the weakest hitting across the league. 90% of teams are either playing a natural shortstop at second for his bat or they’re playing a field first player there because it’s a demanding defensive position around the margins.

    Also, he was a 95 rated hit tool. That’s not been what’s most impressive about him. It’s that his walk rate is twice what it was in the minors. He made adjustments quickly. He is going to be a very good player but these stats are skewed because of the relative weakness of the position offense wise.

    My brother-in-law is severely autistic (non-verbal, non-functioning), both my nephews have autism and adhd, I turn 40 this year and my kid is very high-needs already (sleeps through the night maybe 3 times a month and is 3 and a half now).
